COVID-19 Safety Update
We’re so happy to be opening our office up again and look forward to catching up with our patients and continuing to help you maintain your oral health.
Before visiting us for your check up or procedure, we would like to inform you of a some of the changes we’ve made to ensure the health and safety of everyone due to COVID-19. Even before reopening on June 15th, our dedicated and hardworking team here at Dentistry On Danforth has always followed strict protocol regarding sterilization; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve placed even stricter rules and kindly ask our patients to help us follow them to keep everyone safe. By working together through these challenging times, we can only become stronger.
You’ll notice some of these new procedures:
- When you arrive for your appointment, give us a call (416-466-4422) and we’ll come to get you to let you into the office. We ask that you wear a mask until it’s time for your dentist to see you.
- To allow for better physical distancing between everyone, we’re allowing a longer spacing time between appointments. Unfortunately, this may reduce our flexibility for scheduling your requested appointment time.
- Just as our team members will undergo screening before their shifts, we will also be asking the same of our patients before their appointment/ entering the office
- We have various hand sanitizer dispensers set up around the office and ask you to sanitize as you enter and leave the office.
- As a precaution at this time, we are not offering magazines, books or children’s toys in our waiting area, as they’re more difficult to disinfect.
- To better protect our patients, and ourselves, we’ll be wearing more personal protective gear such as masks, face shields and full gowns.
COVID Consent Form
Prior to your appointment, we’ll be asking you to fully read, initial and provide your signature on a digital COVID-19 consent form. This ensures you understand our procedures and are taking every precaution yourself to keep those around you safe. If you have any questions regarding the form, give us a call and we’ll happily guide you through it.
Our Patients Come First and Foremost
It’s no secret that our patients’ needs always come first. For those who had appointments cancelled since our closure, one of our receptionists will contact you to rebook another appointment and those with urgent requests will be given priority. We appreciate the outpouring of support and want to thank you all in advance for your patience as we work through our “new normal” regarding appointment scheduling.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at 416-466-4422 or email us at [email protected] – we always respond promptly.
Thank you for your confidence and trust and we look forward to continuing to help you maintain your oral health safely for years to come!
