Veneers are thin shells made of porcelain or composite materials that are bonded to the front of your teeth. Veneers are designed to improve the appearance of your teeth and are custom-made to match the natural colour and appearance of your teeth.

- Stains & discolouration
- Damaged teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Irregularly shaped or sized teeth
- Gaps between teeth
Making Customized Veneers
To determine if you’re a suitable candidate for veneers, visit your dentist for a comprehensive assessment. We’ll go over your goals and examine your oral health to ensure this is the right route to take when it comes to improving your smile.
Preparing Your Teeth for Veneers
To prepare your teeth for your veneers, your dentist reshapes the surfaces of your teeth and trims down your enamel. This part of the process will get your teeth ready for when the veneers need to be applied. Your dentist may numb the area to avoid any discomfort.
Customizing Your Veneers
Your teeth are unique, and so are your custom veneers.
Designing and creating your veneers requires an initial impression. The impression will be sent off to make your permanent veneers. It can take 2–4 weeks for the completed veneers to return. In the meantime, temporary veneers can be applied to your teeth.
Permanently Bonding Your Veneers
When the completed veneers arrive at our office, we’ll schedule an appointment to permanently bond them to your teeth. Before applying, we’ll examine the fit and function of the veneers and make any necessary adjustments. The last step permanently applies the veneers to your natural teeth.
Long-Lasting Results with Dental Veneers
Veneers can last 7–15 years on average before eventually needing a replacement. Continue to follow a good oral hygiene routine to maintain the health of your teeth and gums.
At your next dental exam and cleaning, talk to your dentist about veneers and if they are a fitting option for your dental needs. Book your next appointment.
